1 · What we collect

Account details (name, email), billing information via our payment processor, product telemetry (feature usage, run verdicts and timings), and the content you choose to sync to the control plane: flow metadata, run reports, and rendered guides.

2 · What never leaves your machine

Captured sessions and staged credentials stay on your runner — encrypted, file-permission 0600, outside git. Secret values are never transmitted to us, never appear in flows, reports, guides, or screenshots, and we’ve built tests to keep it that way.

3 · Screenshots

Screenshots in runs and guides are captured from your applications and may contain what your app displays. Fixture mode exists so native-app guides run against seeded data rather than personal data — we recommend it and default new native projects to it.

4 · How we use data

To run the service, bill you, secure accounts, and improve the product with aggregate usage. We don’t sell personal data and we don’t train models on your content.

5 · Subprocessors

We use Cloudflare (hosting, storage, delivery) and a payment processor. Each is bound by data-processing agreements. A current list is available on request.

6 · Your rights

Export or delete your data anytime — guides are already in your repo, and account deletion removes hosted copies and control-plane data within 30 days. Email privacy@walkabout.run to exercise access, correction, or deletion rights.
